Aker Solutions ASA, a Norwegian oil services company based in Oslo, provides oilfield products, systems and services worldwide for customers in the oil and gas industry. The company, founded in 1841, was known as Aker Kværner until 2008.Aker Kværner (OSE: AKVER) was founded in 2004 from the major restructuring of a complex "Aker Kværner" business unit, formed originally in 2002 by the merger of Aker Maritime and Kværner Oil & Gas. On April 3, 2008, Aker Kværner was renamed Aker Solutions, partly due to the difficulty that most non-Scandinavians found in pronouncing "Kværner".

Finance Manager 
The Finance Manager is accountable as the finance focal point for our country office in Nigeria.
The Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, policies and procedures as well as monthly closing and reporting activities, comparison to budget/ forecasts and adjustment of rolling forecasts.The Finance Manager ensures quality and timely internal and external reporting and monitors finance activities, performing quality financial management analysis for decision support.

Carry out discipline maintenance activities also the initial investigation for breakdowns/fault finding and ensure on the job presence during major work scopes.Prepare schedules and work packs for impending offshore visits including ordering and verifying of spares prior to offshore visitsRecommend and if required make changes to electrical procedures and work instructions system to the Technical Authority
