Technician Mechanical
Skilled craftsman who carries out work in the Mechanical craft in accordance with the prescribed job content, primarily working on rotating and associated equipment to maintain MI, design performance & availability.Working alone, with another technician or craftsman from another trade, carries out a wide verity of plant fitting duties. Inspecting and routine lubrication & servicing of plant, removal, overhauling and repair of pumps, turbines, associated equipment, valves, etc. Their replacement, alignment, checks, and testing in order to return to reliable operational duty.

Technician Electrical
Provides hands on maintenance, fault-finding and repair service for Electrical equipment as directed by his senior technician. This shall include, but not limited to, lighting, motors, starters, generators, and utilization equipment.Applies logical reasoning to the diagnosis and detection of real or apparent malfunctions and uses his knowledge, skill and experience to return the equipment speedily and safely to service. Notes symptoms of failures and passes on to senior technician to input to report. Performs tests to verify that equipment is functioning correctly or to identify faults using sophisticated equipment, hand tools and other equipment.

Technician Instrumentation
To perform maintenance routines, repairs and calibrations on Bapco Instrumentation & Control equipment, some of these activities will also involve Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.To perform safe and effective preventive maintenance routines on Instrumentation & Control equipment as generated by the EMPAC maintenance management system and in line with the principles and procedures laid down in the Instrument Maintenance strategies and procedures. To carry out effective, safe, effective and timely repairs to Instrumentation & Control equipment that has failed. To carry out Quality Assurance (QA) calibrations on Instrumentation & Control equipment to ensure customer requirements.
