Agency Accounts Supervisor
Oversee all general ledger activities in accordance with UASC guidelines and local statutory regulations. Provide backup and support for senior financial officials and maintain and reconcile transactions in accounting system. Handle both Principal and Agency ledgers. Keep each separate to allow VAT disclosures Establish general ledgers in CODA accounting system for three agencies (UASAC Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil) within the first year. Grow the Agency Accounts team in line with requirements and extend the scope to further South America as and when required.

Responsible for managing the sales and customer service team in the area covered by the branch office. Responsible for selling UASC’s service to the customers in that area in accordance with the agreed country sales plan, for the generation of business in accordance with the plan in order to optimise the results for UASC, and for the provision of excellent customer service in order to maintain and increase levels of customer support. Responsible for overseeing all UASC’s activities in that branch office, and for representing UASC to external parties in that locality.

To ensure accurate processing and recording of all business/financial transactions, to ensure the production of timely and accurate Management and Financial Accounting Reports and analysis both for the agency and for principal’s accounts, as per the applicable procedures and standards; to ensure proper cash management, including effective credit management and following procedures for remittance of surplus funds; to implement and improve effective internal controls including the budgetary process of preparation, monitoring and reporting; to support other business functions and the agency General Manager in the effective management of the business.
